Do you travel to my location?

Yes. Heartland Community Solutions provides mobile notary services at homes, offices, hospitals, senior living communities, and other agreed-upon locations throughout Johnson County and surrounding areas.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Please bring an acceptable government-issued form of identification and the document or documents needing notarization. Kansas permits several forms of government identification, including a driver’s license, passport, or government-issued nondriver identification card.

Should I sign my documents before the appointment?

Please wait to sign unless you have been specifically instructed otherwise. Some documents must be signed in the notary’s presence.

Do all signers need to be present?

Yes. Everyone whose signature must be notarized needs to appear for the appointment and provide acceptable identification.

Can you explain my documents or tell me how to complete them?

No. A notary public is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, interpret documents, or tell you what information to enter. Questions about the document should be directed to the issuing agency, title company, lender, or a qualified attorney.

Can you provide witnesses?

Witness requirements vary by document. Clients should confirm whether witnesses are needed before the appointment. We can later update this answer once you decide whether you will help coordinate witnesses.
